The abduction of the over 200 Borno school girls by Boko Haram has sparked public outrage in Nigeria and the rest of the world.
Numerous celebrities including Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, and Mary J. Blige have joined the viral #BringBackOurGirls campaign to raise awareness about the plight of the Borno Girls.
A member of the UK House of Commons
has also reportedly joined the campaign, stating that the UK government
is ready to assist Nigeria in ensuring the girls’ release. See the
