Multiple award-winning and celebrated Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah was officially unveiled as a Brazil 2014 World Cup ambassador at a ceremony at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Thursday night. Although the actress was announced as one of the 15 ambassadors chosen by the Ministry of Youth and Sports last week, Jackie was out of the country on a project which took her to Rwanda, Malawai and Zambia. Thus, during a send off dinner for the visiting Zambian Minister of Youth and Sports, Jackie was officially presented with her letters and duties as a World Cup ambassador.
Jackie commented:” I must say I am honoured and humbled by this gesture. Thank you for choosing me. To everyone who sat down and decided that ‘Jackie should be part of this’, I am honoured and grateful. Thank you and God bless you”
