Former CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has won his case versus the federal Government after been suspended as the Governor of CBN.
The presiding Judge Justice Buba not only ordered that Sanusi’s passport be released immediately, he also awarded the former CBN Govenor N50 million for damages! The 3 respondent :AG, SSS, Police have been ordered to make an apology to him!
The court also declared that;
1) The federal high court had the jurisdiction to hear the case.
2.) Submission of the SSS of SLS financing terrorism lacks merit and is therefore dismissed.
3.) The 3 respondents : Attorney general, IG Police and SSS are singing discordant tunes. The SSS said they are investigating him for financing terrorism but the Police is unaware of such.
4.) The judge stated that the SSS acted with impunity and the SSS must be restrained.
